No VIP passes to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week? Don’t fret. New Yorkers in the know can still get their fashion fix without the hassle of the velvet rope. The Coterie is the chicest show in New York with a global clientele who understand sophisticated, directional, and timeless clothing. Those that flock to the Coterie represent the cream of the crop in all areas of fashion and style. This show is the center of the contemporary design universe. What could be better than that?

Coming on the heels of New York Fashion Week, over 3,000 vendors show at the Coterie . Unlike the fashion shows, at the Coterie buyers and press can take in the lines at a less frenetic pace. If you’ve checked out my recent posts you know that Fashion week involves racing from show to show all across the island of Manhattan. Fashion week with all of its hoopla, also brings logistical issues worthy of your own personal sherpa, or at least a Fashion GPS. Not so at the Coterie. All the vendors are self-contained under one roof- The Javits Center. It was merely a light jog from appointment to appointment, booth to booth, yet my feet still hurt. 🙁

All the trends are here, from ladylike dressing to super cool shoes, from casual athletic wear to neon thongs. It’s all there for the blogging, and the ordering of course.
