There aren’t many fashion rules during New York Fashion Week, other than the obvious. Wear a killer outfit, and put on your best poker face. But one golden rule does come to mind: Never be late to the runway. New York is currently experiencing blizzard-like conditions, which means fashion and style can become treacherous. When the weather outside is frightful, and layers are a necessity, always plan ahead. I have lined up my outfits from day to night on a separate rack so I know what to wear. What to wear when its freezing outside.

I get it, it’s really freaking cold. And that means finding the perfect outfit during one of the most stylish days of the year can be extra time consuming. Not to mention dealing with daily train delays, Uber surge charges and all the other typical New York problems that could get in your way. So let’s try not to be fashionably late this season. I know I will try my hardest to be on time.
