City Dressing
Honoring my love affair for all things lustrous, I am putting myself in the spotlight again. If there ever was any doubt in your mind that metallics are having a moment, summer in the city should wipe that crazy notion straight out of your head for good. Not just reserved for the glitterati and galas, metallics should find their way into your daily wardrobe. Treat them as the new neutral. From shiny bags and shoes, to tops and jackets, I find these of-the-moment gunmetal shiny things look taking the expected for a ride. Take a peek below to get the gist, just keep your eyes out on this city sidewalks for the glare.
Theysken’s Theory silver top, Dannijo neckwear, Christopher Kane neon biker jacket, J Brand denim low-rise flare jeans, Phillip Lim 31 minute clutch , Sam Edelman Yelena gunmetal shoes.
I can really appreciate wearing loads of denim, one of the most comfortable things on the planet besides coming home to a bowl of Cheerios. I like blue. I like silver. I like blue gum. And I like loose fitting things in the summertime. As I mentioned in my previous post on the 31 Minute bag, I would rather be wearing an updated silver Tinman-esque sleek out-of-an-editorial look book cool acid-blue clutch anytime of day. It adds the ultimate pizazz. I can totally embrace this denim marries a hint of neon yellow ensemble for an everyday outfit. I finally found my lost craving for gun metal and it happens to pair perfectly with my love affair with all things denim.
