The holidays are here. Horrah! You’re stressed, too busy, and on top of all of that it’s freaking freezing outside. The first frost has accumulated on our doorsteps, blanketing our windshields and sidewalks that yes, old man winter has arrived. On a more positive note, the holiday lights emit warmth, and the energy is alive. Let’s all stop and enjoy the moments. The smell of pine is one of my favorite scents and I light it when I come home from a busy day. This time of year, instills hope in all of us, that yes, we will get through the cold unscathed.

It’s winter time, time to cozy up

Furthermore, I will manage to keep my sanity as long as I dress the part. Coat up, jacket up. As much as I love hot cocoa, it doesn’t make up for the fact that I dislike covering my entire body up in layers. Because my hair ends up flat when I wear hats, black tights aren’t attractive, and while I would rather be cuddled up at home, that is not always an option. As much as I love hot cocoa, the only way out is to grin and bear it. I have survived many a New York winter, and I am well informed by now of the drill. It’s winter time. Hence, the time to grab your warmest gear and cozy up like a bear.
