Denim on Denim
A far cry from the days of the Canadian Tuxedo, otherwise known as the “denim sandwich,” today’s denim-on-denim trend defines the meaning of casual chic. For Resort 2013, designers created plenty of interesting inspiring denim on denim looks that are not only trend-driven but totally wearable. So my denim jorts post came in handy, right? The trick is in the mix, my friends. Pairing light washes with darker shades make the look ultra–ultra everything. Denim is clearly having a moment. And although you may not be able to wear those ripped cut-off shorts to work, hello, it is the fabric of our generation. From Derek Lam to Givenchy we go:
I started to wonder if I could embrace this trend right now, what would I wear?
