Easy Denim
Today, in more ways to cover your butt in denim of any variety, I bring you the over-sized, acid-washed jean. Have I mentioned that baggy pants are back? Not sure about them? Try Bermuda shorts! A bra let! A full skirt! All of these trendoids for Spring have serious staying power that you can wear now. So, you ask, what’s the big deal about these jeans? For one, they are super comfortable as they are washed millions of times, and for a close second, they look so fresh. And you can’t put a price tag on that.
There have been many trends on and off the runway this Fashion Month, (Those Celine fur-lined Birkenstocks.. Mon Dieu!), but the ones with the most stamina is the jean. Even denim, the wardrobe hero of our times, is susceptible to trends. This season, 90’s inspired grunge is making a comeback and jeans are a big part of that equation. They are a love of mine because the fine act of squeezing into my skinny jeans creating a blasphemous muffin top is sooo yesterday. Thanks to Phillip Lim, See by Chloé, Rebecca Taylor, and many others, (see looks below), slouchy 90’s denim are so wearable they might never disappear.

And here’s me. I tried these acid-wash-one-size-too-big versions and I think I have converted.
Ksubi boyfriend jeans, Rag and Bone zipped pullover, Dolce Vita sandals, J. Crew hat, Minor Obsessions horn necklace, Balenciaga bag, Super sunglasses.
I can dance! And swing! and pose! And that, my friends, is priceless.
