Yoga Journey

I have always struggled with yoga practice. As a fitness enthusiast, I thought that yoga was the antithesis to my workout goals, and simply just stretching. Western medicine just wasn’t for me. My mother, a rebellious soul, stood on her head for years, but I couldn’t be bothered. What I didn’t realize then was that yoga helps me stretch out , yoga is actually good for you. It stretches out the fatigued muscles that are so hard at work. In typical yoga classes, the strict attention to detail, the asanas, and the commanded instructions were not my cup of tea. The commands, “keep your legs hips width apart, now hang your head into your hands, and dangle all of it them in front of you” are strange.... Read More

Storets plaid top DVF jacket AG Jeans JW Anderson bag Stella McCartney booties, SHOP SIMILAR  January is a slow month in the fashion industry where couture is happening, Fall 2017 is on deck, and Spring is a mere 3 months away. But, there is all the fashion I want to buy right at my fingertips. Here are three warning signs when... Read More

Miami Sunshine

Solid and Striped top Eres sarong Miami, a multi-cultural hotspot, has definitely won a special place in my heart. I have been going to Art Basel for many years, but this time my family and I spent a wonderful nine days in the warm Miami sunshine. The architecture and Art Deco buildings are blowing up, and the cocktail and club scene pumps into the wee hours. Put your convertible top down and cruise down Ocean Drive. This time around, we tried our best to discover all new things Miami  and the many things this bustling city has to offer. From the beautiful beaches, to museums and bike tours, to delicious food, and everything in-between, we... Read More

For me, gone are the days when I will brave the snow and dirty mush for sculpted heels and fancy boots. My style has definitely gotten more casual over the past year. Comfort, especially when it comes to footwear, has become a huge... Read More

I am finishing all my last minute holiday shopping, heading out of town for the holidays, and going somewhere warm. We are going to Florida, and while Miami doesn’t always have perfect weather, I can’t wait to feel the sun on my back. But first, I need to pack. Since, I am a huge pack rat, actually packing can become a disaster, especially when the dreaded scale tips over the 50 pound mark. How to avoid that mistake? It is not hard to do. Head over to your closet and start making a list. Rather than overpacking, try editing down as soon as you can.... Read More
