Personal style isn’t about chasing all the top trends that are sent down the runway. Instead its about curating your own versions of the trends, making them a part of your arsenal, and making them work for you. Whichever trends you are to try, be roared to stand by them and be an original adopter. I am a big proponent of making this happen. I was recently introduced to a new fashion label, The Fib Store. The brainchild behind the brand is Brazilian businesswoman Irma Alves. Irma is multi-talented woman who majored in International Relations in Rio De Janiero and received a Master’s Degree at the University Pierre Mendes Grenoble Fr., Advanced Diplomacy at Johns Hopkins, International Law, and sustainable development and clean energy in Geneva. For a split second this spring, I was enjoying the warmish weather we were having. I stored all my woolens, cashmeres, angoras, and blends at the dry cleaners for the season. I pulled out my white and ivory dresses, white denim, shorts, and rainbow colored tees. Between the near 70-degree day and this week of 25-degree mornings of early April, the weather was starting to act a lot like an extreme dictator.
