In the City That Never Sleeps
Today on the Fashion Hunter, I want to share some good news with you. First of all, I was featured this week in Bond Magazine as a style consultant, fashion lover, stylist, and blogger alongside Christine Cameron of My Style Pill on tips of the trade, our favorite shops, and the rules us fashionistas live by.
New Yorkers and fashion are a breed upon themselves, and even when it’s not time to ring in the fashion parade that is Fashion Week, we have our excuses to wear our sunglasses, blow dry our hair, and bare our legs in such well-dressed soigné New York sartorial panache.

How to Dress Like a New Yorker
The truth is though, we are all not immaculate giraffes and that’s not how we dress everyday (see recent New York Times article on Dressing Down). Although Manhattanites are a stylish lot, it is hard on any given day to find the cloths that stand out on the grey streets of the metropolis and that’s where the second part of this post comes in.
I know you know that I like to poke fun at fashion all while being a shrewd judge on what silhouette works on who, dissecting the trends, and showing you by the clothes I wear.
Next week, with the help of Closet Dash, a re-fashioning, resale business, ERA (Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator), and my good friend Susan Sandler, founder and President of PopUp Summer, I will be speaking on the topic “How to monetize and market your blog.” Blogging can be a lonely gig–mainly solo on your laptop, but here’s a chance to mingle with your favorite bloggers, and people just interested in learning about the business.
Here are the details for the event.. come say hi. Hope you can make it!
ClosetDash is hosting another teach-in series for serious fashion bloggers on how to turn your blog into a business!
