Neutral Territory

Personal style isn’t about chasing all the top trends that are sent down the runway. Instead its about curating your own versions of the trends, making them a part of your arsenal, and making them work for you. Whichever trends you are to try, be roared to stand by them and be an original adopter. I am a big proponent of making this happen. For example, the trends now scream that the summer of the 70’s  is back in action and I adopt it accordingly. I have worn and loved those flared jeans way too many times to speak of, and know that the neutral color is in my color wheel. I love staying in the neutral territory.

There are certain rights that come with knowing what looks good on me and how to work with what you’ve got. Sure, your outfit might be met with some skepticism at first, but when the trend you’re wearing blows up (and is all over Zara next season), you’ll earn some serious street cred as the one who was bold enough to go there. And being bold is vital — especially when considering the more-is-more, maximalist approach of spring’s must-haves.
