Sweater Weather

Generally speaking, we reserve most of our knits for winter. Once the warmer months come we are only too happy to pack them away in favor of lighter, breezier garments. BUT for the last few years Mother Nature seems to be blurring the lines between the seasons. I mean, snow in March? What a drag. This weather puts us in quite the funk. To part with our winter knits, or not to part with our winter knits, that is the question. Because of course the second you pack them away the temperature drops below zero again. This is why you should place a high value on transitional clothing pieces. Something that can take us from winter to early spring is a must. The sweater dress is one such piece. With a little bit of added warmth and unlimited styling capabilities, this little number can easily become spring-ready with the switch of a bootie. I like to wear lightweight sweaters paired with jeans and metallic flats for the perfect must-have look for the season. No jacket? No problem! My favorite season, Spring, goes perfectly with sweater weather!
