Test-Driving the Skinny Scarf
Fashion is so fickle, and that is one of the reasons I love it so. One day, depending on my mood and the weather, I might feel like wearing a blazer, skinny jeans, and Gucci loafers and the next, put on a velvet jumpsuit just because. Women really get to have all the fun when it comes to fashion. Sorry guys! We can incorporate different lengths, experiment with shape, color, and anything we can dream up on a daily basis. We can even dress like men incorporating ties if we want to. We get mini skirts, pinafores, wide leg trousers. In short, that is why I love fashion. And lately I have been experimenting with lots of different possibilities especially when it comes to accessories. More specially, I have been test-driving the skinny scarf. This neckwear trend has infiltrated the fashion community at large.
There have been many iterations of the neck scarf thus far: the classic bandana, silk squares, cashmere and so on. How about braiding two together? What a cool concept. Down below I paired an all-white ensemble, and a jacquard jacker for the original gangster look with the neck getting all the attention.
The above photo shoes how simple it is to take two skinny scarves and braid them together. It took 5 minutes to complete.
