Transitioning into Fall
I am ready for fall, but not ready to embrace the bulky sweaters quite yet. Just yesterday New York was a balmy 80 degrees, so I am taking advantage of wearing less while I can. This is one of my last summer in the city looks as fall is headed our way this week and my wardrobe will start the slow transition into Fall.
I can embrace the crisp days, the beautiful foliage, and the bright colors of Fall. The Pantone color scheme tells a visual story of Fall with Marsala, Desert Sage, Dried Herb, and Oak Bluff as the key colors of the season. The only color that I am not fond of is Stormy Weather. No surprise there.
I forgot how fresh a pair of striped pants can look versus the traditional striped shirt that I am so fond of. I can imagine pairing these pants with a white fuzzy statement jacket as we get into cooler weather. Why not add a dash of spice to your look whether in a bag, a top, an accessory or a bright pair of pants. Pairing a statement pant like these below make the outfit stand out. It’s all about having a good balancing act.
