Wearing Summer
With the golden hour at its peak, my new Melissa Odebash maxi dress has taken center stage accompanied by a rattan clutch and a worn-out panama hat. Captured on my summer trip to St. Barths, there was no phone service for days, successfully relinquishing my desire to upload and connect to the world. The beach-to-bar cover-ups and a few bathing knickknacks, including sunscreen, are essentially all anybody wears in that oh-so-chic beach community. Avoir un grand weekend!

The maxi dress cover-up does maximize the style quotient eliminating any needs for accessories except for the St. Barth pearl on a rope. It also ties in perfectly with my themed Five Foot Fridays. Today in Part 3 of the summer series, features the maxi dress that anybody can wear. Even if you’re short. Frankly, I can’t even fathom wearing anything but simple, no-more-than-two-piece white ensembles and this fits the bill.
Here are some quick snaps I took while on my trip that emulate summer. The unplugged version.
