What to Wear for Thanksgiving
Ah, Thanksgiving. Everyone’s favorite holiday is almost here and I am so excited to see friends and family, have a turkey, and of course, eat far to much pumpkin pie. But that’s just the beginning. Here comes the ultimate dilemma: how do you look cute and put together, but still give yourself enough room for that “I’m so stuffed” feeling you’re guaranteed to have circa 7pm? It is a tough call but luckily I have plenty of comfortable-yet-chic looks that are perfect to wear for Thanksgiving day. Keep your Grandmother and your waistline happy, and partake in as much stuffing as you please. Here is what to what to wear for Thanksgiving.
I thought about this for a minute. The fact is, your relatives don’t really care what you are wearing. What matters most is the photos that will appear one, five, or twenty years down the road. The risk we all take is that we won’t look good to ourselves that many years post-photo op. I am choosing to wear stretch pants with Lycra, a white lace top and a blazer this season. I have also set aside some dress options for those of you who like to dress up.
