Winter Skin Routine
It is always this time of year where I think I am never going to have fun again. My to-do list is made, resolutions so far in check, but my skin is peeling, my December flat abs are no longer, and it’s freezing cold outside. In the effort of trying not to rely on the purchasing power of the internet, which usually gives me a temporary high, I am not spending money on clothing for the month of January. Would rather book a trip to be frank. I am using the power of the positive and getting dressed just because I can. Just because I have to nowhere to go, doesn’t mean I can’t wear this feather top to the supermarket. It’s all about the intention. Here’s the thing. Beauty starts on the inside and shows immediately on your skin. Your smile. Your face. And it is hard to hide. You might have drank too much during this long holiday break, flown across continents, and our collective bodies and skin have taken a beating. My skin looks like it’s been through a few late nights and stress is an unwelcome addition. Instead of hating on my skin and such, I am going to embrace winter doldrums by finding solutions, buying flowers, lighting candles, and playing music non-stop. I might even start a new hobby. I will need to do these things with a clear mind and clean face. With that in mind, here’s a guide on how to maintain a flawless complexion. Since glowing skin is always in style, I have made you a guide on how to detox your skin after a month of partying, sans the green juice. Here is my winter skin routine.
